Exalt (XLT)is a powerful encounter with Jesus Christ that will help you grow in your faith. The night begins with praise and worship music led by a live band. This leads into a witness talk or teaching, followed by adoration in the Catholic tradition. XLT takes place every 2nd Thursday of the month St. Pius X Church, 13072 Sherbrooke Avenue in Edmonton, beginning at 7:00pm. The evening includes reconciliation, and finishes with a time of fellowship for anyone who has come out. Check back here for reflections on past XLT’s and updates about future ones.
XLT began in Atlanta under Paul George, a veteran youth minister who wanted to provide a place that his youth could go deeper.
We are blessed to have a number of priests, deacons, and laypeople who come out to speak, challenging us to know Christ and be transformed by this relationship. Fr. Patrick Baska, director of vocations for the Archdiocese of Edmonton, is the spiritual director for XLT. Music is led by Anaphora (a greek word for ‘offering’), who are a group of young adults who are falling in love with the Lord over and over again… and hope to share that through their worship.
